LCD Soundsystem - Dance Yrslf Clean (Muppet version)

Another great Muppets clip. Especially enjoyed because now I can hear a bit of Kermit-ness in James Murphy's croon.

Though it's sad to hear about LCD's recent retirement, it's a good thing in the sense of an act stepping away from the limelight at the height of their powers.

Juke Box Hero

Anytime the mood strikes me to fire up the jukebox at a bar I find myself gravitating towards Queen's "Under Pressure," whenever it's available. I like it when sometimes people will think it's the beginning of "Ice Ice Baby," and then it's not.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' "Mary Jane's Last Dance" is another solid choice.

Apropos of nothing, a youtube clip of a homeless man using two Kermit puppets to "dub" the Freddie Mercury / David Bowie duet (an incredible vocal pairing if ever there was one.)

And for the hell of it: the Tom Petty youtube as well.

Karaoke Klassic

This has been traveling around the interwebs this week. Finally got to watch during this extremely slow time at work. Enjoy.
